On ne dit pas tout dans une BD... Dans le tome 1, nous sautons directement de l'âge de 2 ans à 6-7 ans. Mais rien n'interdit de présenter des images hors album. Celle-ci présente Silvia en vacances chez ses grand-parents madrilènes Gloria et Fernando López. Nous ne verrons ceux-ci qu'une seule fois dans la BD, lors de l'enterrement d'Antonio, quelques 13 ans plus tard. Cette image a été publiée en noir et blanc dans une revue d'adoption et elle a été colorée par la suite dans Adobe Illustrator.
