Pourtant, Silvia a un caractère fier et ombrageux, et restera d'une susceptibilité maladive jusque vers vingt ans. Elle se montre parfois d'une agressivité incroyable. Elle accepte de poser nue sur la plage pour sa première correspondante d'anglais Shelley Brooks qui souhaite faire des photos de nus (à condition que Shelley en fasse autant) mais, lorsque quelqu'un l'aperçoit, Silvia est effrayée et se montre odieuse: elle invite Shelley à monter dans le premier avion pour Londres… et Shelley s'exécute! Les deux se quittent en larmes, mais le mal est fait. Toutefois, en 46 planches, on ne peut tout raconter. Aussi cet épisode n'est-il que très brièvement évoqué dans le découpage actuel du tome 1, et Shelley n'y est pas montrée non plus.

Nevertheless, Silvia has a proud and fierce character, and she will be very touchy until aged 20. She can be very agressive sometimes. She accepts to pose naked on the seashore for her first English correspondent Shelley Brooks who wants to take nude photos (if Shelley does the same). But, as somebody sees Silvia, she is feared and turns odious with the young British girl: "Shelley, you are a true ass! Here with the head that I have, everybody knows me! So, what I have to do? I hide myself in the ground?" And she invites Shelley to take the first plane for London… what Shelley does. Both begin to weep, but the evil is done… However, in 46 pages, one cannot tell everything. Therefore this event is only briefly quoted in the current scenario of Vol. 1, and Shelley herself is not shown.
